Hi there! My name is Dr. Jacci Tomsic, and I practice as an OMF surgeon by day. With such a demanding schedule and frequent travel for work, conferences, and family visits, it is essential for me to pack specific items when I’m on the go. Here are a few of my favorite must-have items for travel:
Marini Tinted Water-Resistant 45 SPF Sunscreen
First, I always bring my Marini Tinted Water-Resistant 45 SPF Sunscreen. I love this brand and product because it’s not like your typical sunscreen that feels very sticky when you put it on. It goes on smoothly and has UVA + UVB protection. It lasts up to 80 minutes in the water and gives you a clean look when you apply it. Additionally, it is perfect for light coverage under your foundation if you are doing anything extensive outside.
It is $57.00, so a bit on the pricier side, but well worth it for the type of look, coverage, and feel that it gives. I love outdoor activities, so it is the perfect product.
Peter Thomas Water Drench Moisturizer
Secondly, I love to use Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Moisturizer. I think this moisturizer is truly one of the best moisturizers I have ever used. Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream is a 30% hyaluronic acid complex cream with Pentavitin, which helps provide up to 72 hours of hydration. I highly recommend it.
Noise-Reduction Airpods from Apple
Thirdly, I always travel with my noise reduction air-pods from Apple. It helps me be hands-free when I am having a call while waiting in the airport, along with listening to my music while working out or going on an adventure outside! I love to hike and do outdoor activities, so these are a must and just so happen to be my brand of choice.
Athletica Athleisure
I am very particular about workout clothes because I like them to be breathable. That’s why I always travel with a few sets of workout clothes because my partner and I enjoy doing outdoor activities. Additionally, most hotels also have workout areas where I can fit in a workout during my stay. I try to exercise at least 4-5 times a week, usually either in the early morning or late at night. There is a wide variety of workout items available, so take your pick!
On-The-Go Oral Care from Better & Better
Of course, as an oral surgeon, exceptional oral care products are always at the top of my list. I use Better & Better products, and recommend them to all my patients.

I also noticed that planes get quite cold, so I always like to make sure I have a sweater with me during my travels just in case I need to throw it on. My favorite travel sweater is Calia, Women’s Everyday Wear Zip-Up Hoody. It is Carrie Underwood’s former label, and I am a huge fan, as I love Country music!
Naked and Thriving Facial Serum
Lastly, I never leave home when traveling without my Naked and Thriving Face Serum when traveling. I’ve done a lot of research on the best brands and stumbled upon this one a few years ago, and now it is my favorite! I would check it out as they have many excellent reviews, which led me to them in the first place.
