The floss has become signifigantly more thin then the first time I purchased it. Now I have to double the amount used and fold it in half just so it doesnt break

Difficulty dispensing

I love this floss, and the original spool was great, but the refill spool binds against the metal insert making it impossible to dispense without removing the insert. I thought it might get better as the spool gets used up, but it's still sticking. Other folks might give up after the first try.

Hi - Thanks for the feedback. One tip for the refill is to make sure you pull the floss end up from the middle of the bobbin, not the loose end exposed on the outside. If you pull the thread up through the middle of the bobbin and then thread it through the cutter it will pull cleanly and spin in the jar easily. Feel free to reach out if you need assistance.

I like the hazard free floss. A little hard to get used to. Comes apart easily and you have to snap the string in the cutter for clean cut. But seems to offer a better surface to clean the tooth.

I appreciate how this floss has no harmful plastics/chemicals. It works as easily as the best commercial floss, so it is easy on my gums. Is there a dispenser of some kind so I don’t have to keep a pair of scissors on hand?

Overall an improvement on most non-toxic (e.g. no PFOAs) dental floss products, but still can get caught and shred at times in between tight fitting teeth.

Great product (and a tip for refill)

Floss is strong. Bit thicker than the plastic stuff but does the job. Took me a minute to figure out how to setup the refill, but finally figured out that I needed to pull the thread from the inside and then cap the opposite end.

When I tell you that I have searched high and low for a plastic free sustainable floss, that doesn’t hurt your gums and isn’t green washed, I am not joking. I am so thankful I came across better and better‘s floss. It is so gentle on my teeth and I love that it doesn’t use anything synthetic in the materials. Honestly, I want to Floss more now. My dentist had recommended superfloss and cocofloss because superfloss is pretty thick which is good for a permanent retainer and I am so impressed with the thickness of this floss. It’s very similar to superfloss if you ever use that it’s amazing. But 1000000% better because its natural! Thank you times a million. I will be telling friends :)

Love the dental floss. Only

Love the dental floss. Only problem is refill (package of 2) doesn't properly unwind in my original Better&Better floss package I bought over a year ago. I have to open the top of the glass container to unwind the floss for daily use. Why the old glass dispenser doesn't unwind with the new refills is cumbersome and is the reason for the less then "5" rating. If there is a solution please advise accordingly or send me a dispenser that works with your product. Many thanks,

Hello Ken - Likely what you are experiencing with the refill is a common loading problem. The trick is to pull the thread up from the center of the floss bobbin then through the cutter at the top. If you pull the loose end of the string from the side it causes the bobbin to be elevated and spin while trying pull the thread. Sorry for the inconvenience.
